ART from Art

This experimental portrait series is an exploration of combining photography and traditional artistic mediums. To dive deeper into the amalgamation of these two specific art styles and find ways in which they can work together to create something new.

The main goal of this experiment was to explore how these two art mediums could co-exist physically. I wanted to explore a version of mixed media that would make my work more tangible and also give me the space to express diverging realms of my creativity. To find common ground between digital and classic artistic creations. This series allowed me to discover new ways of materialising my work but also gave me further insight into both mediums.
